retracing my steps is a punk and punk-adjacent radio show on WRBC 91.5fm. Playing everything from punk classics to the cutting edge of the genre, I like to explore the ways in which punk ethos and DIY have changed and expanded. From post-hardcore to jazz punk, you can expect to hear classics and new music every week. I play music, read from zines, and do my best to answer the occasional listener question. Thanks to all of your support, WRBC WILL remain on the air at 91.5 fm! That’s right - our tower is going to be replaced!

We are so incredibly grateful for all of the stories, memories, and support we’ve received from our DJs, alumni, listeners, and community members during this process. We would not have gotten through this without y’all!

dear friends of wrbc,

The college has recently expressed an unwillingness to renew our FM broadcasting capabilities, and switch WRBC to an online-only streaming station. The tower is old and corroded, and the college has deemed this technology to be too “out of date” to replace.

all of us on the WRBC board strongly believe that our FM broadcasting capability is an important bridge to the Lewiston/Auburn community, and that being a real RADIO station is vital to the student dj experience. We are determined to keep our FM broadcasting abilities by replacing the tower, but we need your help.

Please take a moment to fill out the google form linked in our bio and share what 91.5 FM means to you! We will be presenting our case to administration next week, and could really use your support.
