Become a DJ
So you want to become a WRBC DJ? That’s great news. WRBC has about 140 DJs made up of Bates students and faculty as well as residents of Lewiston-Auburn, affectionately known as community DJs. WRBC operates on a semester basis, following the Bates College calendar. Each show is two hours long and can be done by more than one person, as long as everyone is a WRBC DJ.
As a WRBC DJ, you’ll get to:
- Learn the wonders of the buttons and switches that operate the station.
- Get access to stacks upon stacks of music, new and old.
- Play your favorite tunes for all to hear.
- Apply to be on the board, where only those with the best faces for radio dare venture.
